Hon Fehintola Whose aspiring for the seat of federal representatives (Ogbomoso North, South And Orire federal Constituency) has condoled with the family of the Alaafin Of Oyo Lamidi Ariyibi Adeyemi III, on the demise of the traditional ruler on Friday.

This is according to a statement by Akande Omobolaji, the special adviser on media and publicity, on Saturday

Mrs Fehintola also commiserated with the government and people of Oyo State and especially the indigenes of Oyo on the demise of their traditional ruler.

Dr Lamidi died on Friday as publicised, after sitting on the throne for 52 years he died at age 83.
Dr Lamidi Adeyemi was a First Class Traditional ruler, who will forever be remembered for his counsel and commitment to the unity and harmony within their ranks,” read the statement.
She urges sons and daughters of Oyoland to be consoled with the fact that Oba Adeyemi Lamidi accentuated his reign with the development and progress of the community and Nigeria through enduring peace and extension of hands of fellowship to peoples of other lands.

She described the late monarch as a good Royal Father who contributed to the political, social, and economic life In Nigeria at Large.

She said the deceased will be remembered as a patriot and custodian of cultural and traditional values.
“Oba Adeyemi was an extraordinary person blessed with qualities and characteristics which made him one of the most unforgettable men of our generation. He was a successful businessman, philanthropist, Politician, Ruler and father,” she wrote.

“Hon Fehintola Opeyemi Onabanjo Adedokun prays that Almighty God will repose his soul.”
